D&R Greenway Invites the Public to Help Shape the Plan for the Circuit Trail in Trenton

Princeton, N.J.— D&R Greenway Land Trust, project partners and other community groups invite the public to a meeting to provide input for a proposed bicycle and pedestrian trail in Trenton. The proposed trail will link up the main D&R Canal State Park path near Trenton's Battle Monument, to the fragmented section in Hamilton Township. The trail will wind through Trenton's streets and onto the canal path, linking up to the Delaware River Heritage Trail and East Coast Greenway. Princeton, N.J.—Growing up in the Trenton area, Elizet Moralez-Perez was not especially connected to nature. “I never took the time to explore the outdoors,” she recounts. “I thought city life could only offer city things. Princeton, N.J.— D&R Greenway Land Trust announces the preservation of the 54-acre Kulley-Higgins-Parisi farm in Franklin Township, Somerset County. Located between Old Georgetown Road and Route 518, the farm was acquired as open space by Franklin Township.
