The exhibit, Land, Light, and Spirit, highlights works that illuminate the connection
between a person and a place. The root of attachment to landscape is both individual
and spiritual: it might be a quality of light, a time of day or season – reasons extend
through time, borne out through experience. Connection shared through loved ones,
human and animal, inhabit the further reaches of special places that hold fast in
memory and compel us to return to them, again and again.
