“Paddle into Learning, Explore the Wonders of Nature!”
Embark on a journey of discovery with our educational nature kayak trip! Designed to blend adventure with learning, join us as we paddle through serene waters of Blacks Creek, uncover hidden ecosystems, and delve into the secrets of the great outdoors.
At the heart of our program lies a commitment to environmental awareness and conservation. Learn about preserving fragile ecosystems for future generations.
Explore hidden coves, lush vegetation, and Blacks Creek industrial history as you paddle alongside our knowledgeable instructors. Each trip will provide an enriching experience that sparks curiosity and ignites a passion for environmental stewardship.

Our kayak trips integrate discussions on birding, water quality, watersheds, and chemistry. Through education, participants develop and foster a deeper understanding of our precious waterways.
Experience the beauty of nature and the camaraderie of fellow paddlers with our ACA safety trained kayak guides, naturalist education assistants, and the Kayak Program Manager.
Your safety is our top priority. Before each excursion, we conduct thorough safety briefings, covering essential topics such as proper paddling techniques, safety procedures, and a warm-up. We provide each participant with all the equipment from the kayak to the dry bag.
Reserve your spot today and join us as we paddle, learn, and explore the wonders of nature together. Participants from all experience levels, including beginners, welcome! Age 18 and over welcome or age 16/17 with a registered chaperone to accompany.
In addition to the kayak trip at Bordentown Beach, you are welcome to visit the Discovery Center at Point Breeze nearby for a guided tour of the Gardener’s House and Historic Gardens. We are a permanently preserved open space collaboration with the City of Bordentown and State of New Jersey, formerly known as Joseph Bonaparte’s grand estate, at 101 East Park St, Bordentown, NJ.
