Summer is a great time to learn new facts about birding! Learn about how birds migrate and about how to identify the bird population across New Jersey.
Conserve Wildlife Foundation is dedicated to the conservation and preservation of all rare species in the state of New Jersey, including bats.

Wildlife Biologist Harrison Hepding will share his hands-on expertise and extensive birding across the State in his role with our partner nonprofit, Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ.
An avid birder, Harrison did most of his post-graduation work on avian research. Harrison earned his B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island, where he realized his passion for wildlife biology. He collaborated with our 2025 Alliance For Watershed Education Fellow Joseph Woodmansee, also an enthusiastic birder, on a research project about John James Audubon and ornithologist Charles Lucien Bonaparte.
