Summer is a great time to learn new facts about birding! Learn about how birds migrate and about how to identify the bird population across New Jersey.
Conserve Wildlife Foundation is dedicated to the conservation and preservation of all rare species in the state of New Jersey, including bats.

Wildlife Biologist Harrison Hepding will share his hands-on expertise and extensive birding across the State in his role with our partner nonprofit, Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ.
An avid birder, Harrison did most of his post-graduation work on avian research. Harrison earned his B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island, where he realized his passion for wildlife biology. He is collaborating with our Alliance For Watershed Education Fellow Joseph Woodmansee, also an enthusiastic birder, on an upcoming exhibit about John James Audubon and ornithologist Charles Lucien Bonaparte. When Bonaparte lived at Point Breeze, a young John James Audubon visited here.
Sunday August 10th at 2pm, 101 E. Park Street in Bordentown, NJ. A $15 donation is requested to participate.
The Discovery Center at Point Breeze is open for tours on Saturday and Sunday from noon- 4 pm. Enjoy exhibits and learn about the layers of history and the natural resources found here.
Fees from the programs and donations to tour the Discovery Center support our work in Bordentown, including our historic garden that provides fresh nourishment to local community outreach programs and our summer kayak program that offers interactive exploration of the Abbott Marshlands.
